The Financial Systems Analyst Sr works under minimal supervision and produces advanced analytical and reporting of financial and non-financial data in formats for analysis by management. Provides high level technical expertise related to business processes and data needs.Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with finance managers and business units to provide data that meets the informational needs that will achieve business objectives.
- Gathers, documents and reviews business requirements.
- Assembles and manipulates large amounts of data to facilitate reporting to support Finance & LOB requirements.
- Ensures data integrity/reconciliations to the core source systems.
- Provides requirements, design specs, testing tools and expertise, implementation balancing and post-conversion support on projects impacting Finance and Bank.
- Develops and maintains new programs/ad hoc queries to support LOB business requirements.
- Responsible for the maintenance to ETL mapping programs to support Interest Rate Risk and Stress Testing models.
- Monitors and/or troubleshoots production processes/systems. Interacts with other departments to obtain information and data.
- Develops reports/scorecards/metrics for management.
- Recommends process improvements to enhance data collection and improve reporting.
- Documents the processes used in the reporting/extract process.
- Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.
- Analyzes and resolves problems.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in IT or related field.
- Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience working with financial data systems and analysis.
- 3 years of professional experience within the banking industry.
- 2 years of experience with ETL tools, Data Warehouse Concepts, and Relational Data Bases.
Job Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures in systems technology and data manipulation tools (Access, SQL, VB,).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access functions, programming of modules, and application development.
- Good knowledge of ETL software. BDI experience a PLUS.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to assess user needs and delivery system solutions.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Ability to interact with senior management.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and Relational Database design.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results.

Pay Range
