The Credit Products Associate supports the assigned Credit vertical by performing data entry, due diligence, and investigative research related to commercial lease and loan applications. This role ensures the accurate and timely input of application information into credit systems and contributes to the overall efficiency and integrity of the credit risk assessment and underwriting process.Hourly Pay Range: $19.13 - $23.91 - $28.69Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $0.00 - $0.00
Job Responsibilities:
- Application Data Entry and Verification
- Accurately input commercial lease and loan application data into the front-end credit processing system.
- Verify required documentation and application details for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve any missing or inconsistent data prior to credit analysis.
- Credit & Compliance Screening
- Obtain and review credit bureau reports, fraud checks, and other compliance screenings as required.
- Conduct regulatory checks in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform additional investigative searches as needed to support underwriting.
- Information Validation & Research
- Utilize directories, public records, and digital search tools to verify applicant-provided information.
- Document findings clearly and escalate any discrepancies for further review.
- General Departmental Support
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Credit team.
- Assist with special projects, reporting, and other duties as assigned by management.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
- Minimum experience required: Less than 2 years in financial services
Job Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Familiarity with credit bureau reports, compliance checks, and public record research tools a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results.
